Effective on April 10th, 2025, Australia, Canada, and the United States passport holders will be required to obtain an e-Visa for entry into Brazil for tourism and/or business purpose (Visitor).
Brazilian e-Visa allows for multiple entries, with a maximum stay of 90 days per visit. Extensions may be granted at the discretion of Brazilian immigration authorities.
- For Canadian and Australian passport holders, the e-Visa is valid for 5 years.
- For United States passport holders, the e-Visa is valid for 10 years.
The e-Visa application must be completed online, and its processing time is from 2 to 5 business days. Documents supporting the purpose of your visit to Brazil will be required, and the e-Visa fee is USD 80.90, payable by credit or debit card.
Please note that the authorities may request additional information or documentation after analysis of your application.
Important: If you currently hold a valid stamped visitor visa (VIVIS) for Brazil, you do not need to apply for a new visa.
