The April 2026 Visa Bulletin brought another major shift in employment-based immigration.

📌 EB-3 is now current for most countries, joining EB-2, which became current in March.

What this means in practice:

✅ Anyone with an approved I-140 in the EB-2 or EB-3 category can now file for Adjustment of Status (I-485) if they are eligible and physically present in the United States.

This can allow applicants to obtain:

• Employment Authorization (EAD)
• Advance Parole travel authorization
• A pathway to U.S. permanent residence

For employers sponsoring foreign professionals – and for individuals waiting for priority dates to become current – this creates an immediate filing opportunity.

⚠️ Visa Bulletin movements depend on annual visa demand, so these windows can close quickly.

If you have an approved EB-2 or EB-3 I-140, now is a good time to review your eligibility to file.
